How to use SongToBars

Everything you need to go from a finished track to a bar visualizer video you can layer over your artwork.

From Suno track to YouTube video in three steps

SongToBars turns any song into a clean, animated bar visualizer you can layer over cover art, loops or footage. Everything runs on your own computer.

  1. 1

    Add your tracks

Drop the MP3 or WAV files you downloaded from Suno or any other source. Each track is analyzed once, frame by frame.

  2. 2

    Tune the bars

Start from Calm, Default or Punchy, then adjust sensitivity, bar count, layout and color while the preview plays.

  3. 3

    Render and overlay

Export an MP4 with a black background, place it above your video and set the blend mode to Screen or Add.

Made for AI music channels

Lofi streams, jazz playlists, ambient loops, AI covers — if you publish music on YouTube, a moving visualizer keeps the video alive without hiding your artwork.

  • No upload

Your audio is processed locally with WebCodecs. Nothing is sent to a server, so unreleased tracks stay private.

  • No watermark

Render as many videos as you like, at up to 1920 × 1080 and 60 fps, with nothing stamped on them.

  • Faster than real time

Encoding is not tied to playback. A three-minute song usually renders in well under three minutes on a modern laptop.

  • Overlay-ready

Pure black background designed for Screen or Add blending in DaVinci Resolve, Premiere Pro, CapCut and more.

  • Whole playlists

Queue a full album or playlist and export one continuous video with the tracks back to back.

  • Precise analysis

Each frame is analyzed with a 2048-point FFT across logarithmic bands from 30 Hz to 16 kHz, with tilt correction for highs.

Frequently asked questions

Is SongToBars free?

Yes. There is no sign-up, no export limit and no watermark on the videos you render.

Do you upload my music?

No. Analysis and video encoding run entirely in your browser using the Web Audio API and WebCodecs. Your audio files never leave your device.

Can I use it for songs I made with Suno?

Yes — any audio file you have the rights to use works, including tracks you downloaded from Suno or other AI music tools. Check the license terms of the service you used before publishing commercially. SongToBars is not affiliated with Suno.

How do I get rid of the black background?

Put the exported MP4 on a track above your video in your editor and set its blend (composite) mode to Screen or Add. Black disappears and only the bars stay visible.

Which browsers are supported?

Rendering needs WebCodecs, which is available in recent Chrome and Edge on desktop. The badge at the top of the workspace tells you whether your browser is ready.

Can I make one video for a whole playlist?

Yes. Add all your tracks, order them with the arrows, and press “Render all tracks as one video” to get a single MP4 with the tracks played back to back.
