About
A small, focused tool for people who make music with AI and publish it on YouTube.
Why SongToBars exists
Many creators now make songs with Suno and other AI music tools, then publish them as YouTube videos, playlists and long-form mixes. A static cover image works, but a visualizer that moves with the music makes the video feel alive. Most online visualizer makers ask you to upload your audio, wait in a render queue, and accept a watermark or a resolution cap on the free plan.
SongToBars takes a different approach. It analyzes and encodes everything inside your browser, so your tracks never leave your computer, renders run faster than real time, and the output is a clean MP4 you can layer over anything.
How it works
- Analysis: each track is decoded with the Web Audio API and analyzed once per video frame with a 2048-point FFT and a Blackman window.
- Bars: the spectrum is grouped into logarithmic bands from 30 Hz to 16 kHz, with smoothing, a high-frequency tilt and a noise floor you can adjust live.
- Encoding: frames are drawn to a canvas and encoded to H.264 video with AAC audio through WebCodecs, using the open-source Mediabunny library.
